Join us for an evening of excellent food and company for Brown Girls Food Club's first Chicago meet-up! We will be meeting at The Adelitas in Bridgeport to experience Chef Carlos Garcia's incredible meals. With plentiful vegetarian and vegan options as well as meat options - there's sure to be something for everyone. The $5 ticket donation will go towards securing your spot at Adelitas.

ABOUT THE RESTAURANT: The Adelitas is the newest restaurant by Chef Carlos Garcia. Previously at El Berrinches Restaurant and El Taco Azteca Pilsen, Carlos’ signature cooking and presentations are channeled through fresh, unconventional ingredients and traditional cooking techniques from Mexico.

For our first event in this series, we'll be serving you a 3 course meal with the focus being on homestyle Biryani at Root/25. Our home chefs are Mehlaqa Khan who will be cooking up appetizers and mains and Jenan will be making us dessert.
